Entertainment Night for TUT Students The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is about to host a beauty contest on the 25 th of November for Mr and Miss TUT along with Miss TUT Plus Size 2021.  Movie and music night advert The entertainment industry is diverse and films along with music are one of the best forms of entertainment because they offer something for everyone. The university has hosted a fundraising movie and music night on the 9 th of November at TCE to help them raise funds for their community enrichment program, on this night there were students from different campuses of TUT. All students were required to pay an entrance fee of R10 just to experience, watch movies and participate in music. During the entertainment some of the students did some performing where they danced, sang, and did some poem. Doctor faces sexual harassment accusations

A doctor from the Dr George Mukhari Hospital in Ga- Rankuwa is being accused of sexually harassing a patient during their physical examination. According to the statement made by the victim, the incident took place on the 24 th of July 2021 at the hospital when she came for her treatment. The accused doctor whom his name could not be disclosed was then reported to the CEO of the hospital by the victim’s father, and they were assured that the doctor was suspended from the       hospital pending his disciplinary hearing. Shaka FC vs Lihle Student Village FC

  Shaka FC remains the “Best in the field”.                    Lihle FC lost to Shaka FC with the score of 4-2. These two soccer teams are from the accredited residences from the Tshwane University of Technology formerly known as Shaka and Lihle Student Village. The two teams recently had a match against each other at the TUT Soshanguve North Campus and still the winning team was Shaka FC. “These kinds of games are the ones that help our students distress from the workload they have with their studies” said Owen, coach from Lihle FC. These two teams were not only playing to release some steam, but they also bet with money worth R2000, this was also confirmed by the coach from Lihle FC.             Pat's Tasty Kasi Chicken         Vonani Maluleke the co-owner, frying some meat at Pat Chicken. Pat Chicken is a local franchise in the section around Soshanguve known as the LKK. The place is owned by two individuals Patrick Ratlhalelane and Vonani Maluleke. According to the co-owner Vonani Maluleke, the main person behind the concept of starting this kind of a business was his partner, Patrick. “He felt that there was a need for some local food that is well prepared and ready for the people to buy since most of them preferred chilled stuff,” said Maluleke. Maluleke said that Pat Chickens had no funding at all that they had to dig from their own pockets and also do some fundraising to start the business. After seeing that there is potential in the business, they decided to draw a real plan for the franchise. Princess Mosikare from Mabopane is a student from a known organization Katekani Community Project that was founded in 2015, located in Winterveld. Miss Mosikare talks about how this community project has helped her improve her life. “I started late February,2021. The content of the Life Skills that I was attending was very impactful in my life because it is all about personal development, communication, and job preparedness. Unsupervised Lockdown House Parties

  The President released a statement on the 1 st of June telling the people of SA that the rules of lockdown have been eased a little bit. The sale of alcohol was resumed and people were now allowed to move around, go to work and some schools were reopened etc. What really came to my attention is that, after all those things the president said about easing up lockdown rules people started hosting house parties left right and centre and to my own understanding this kind of action could be the one that leads to the number of people getting affected by this pandemic increasing. I am stating all this because once you get infected by coronavirus you won’t instantly see its symptoms; it will take a day or 2 to experience coronavirus symptoms. I am not against people having fun because we have been indoors for a long time but a little bit of thinking before doing something would help us get through this fight.
