Shaka FC vs Lihle Student Village FC

Shaka FC remains the “Best in the field”.

Lihle FC lost to Shaka FC with the score of 4-2. These two soccer teams are from the accredited residences from the Tshwane University of Technology formerly known as Shaka and Lihle Student Village.

The two teams recently had a match against each other at the TUT Soshanguve North Campus and still the winning team was Shaka FC. “These kinds of games are the ones that help our students distress from the workload they have with their studies” said Owen, coach from Lihle FC. These two teams were not only playing to release some steam, but they also bet with money worth R2000, this was also confirmed by the coach from Lihle FC.

By the time Shaka FC had their 3 goals they were already given two yellow cards by the referee based on what seemed like a deliberate foul and in no time two yellow cards were also given to Lihle FC based on their performances on the field which led to a bad foul. Lihle FC was then awarded a penalty kick which gave them one of the goals they have.

“It was a difficult game, but all in all I tried my best to do what I was taught at the practice, and I would like to thank Njabulo whom is the one that taught me all the trick I hope wherever he is, he is proud of what I did for the team today” said Tumisho the goalkeeper from Shaka FC.

“Since the beginning of the calendar as I was appointed as captain this match has been one of the hurting ones because this was a third straight lose to the very same team, but then at the end of the day as the captain it is my responsibility to keep the team going, motivating them since they are also students” said Maqhawe the captain of Lihle FC.
